About the Role
Pivotal Health is seeking experienced and compassionate RPSGTs, RRTs, and CRTs to join our growing Sleep Services team. This is an opportunity to build your career with a national leader in sleep diagnostics and treatment, with great potential for respiratory therapists to gain hands-on sleep medicine experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct overnight polysomnographic sleep studies in accordance with AASM standards.
- Prepare patients for testing and explain study procedures.
- Apply electrodes and monitoring equipment and verify signal quality.
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot sleep diagnostic equipment.
- Perform PAP mask fittings and titration studies as appropriate.
- Monitor and document sleep-related physiological events.
- Analyze and score sleep studies for physician interpretation.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Deliver exceptional patient-centered care throughout the testing process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited polysomnography program.
- Current RPSGT credential and/or CRT/RRT license.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Ability to work overnight schedules.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Required immunizations and health clearances.
- Previous sleep laboratory experience (preferred).
- PAP titration experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of AASM standards and best practices (preferred).
- Strong technical troubleshooting and documentation skills (preferred).
