About the Role
As a working student in Business Development & Expansion, you will be central to preparing our market entry into Europe. Your focus will be on thoroughly analyzing and evaluating new European markets and creating business cases to support expansion decisions. You will gain deep insights into strategic decision-making processes and have the opportunity for significant professional and personal development.
Responsibilities
- Create and develop business cases for evaluating new markets and expansion opportunities in Europe.
- Conduct market and competitor analyses to identify promising European target markets.
- Prepare presentations and decision proposals for management.
- Assist in automating and optimizing processes.
- Research regulatory, economic, and cultural frameworks of individual European countries.
- Support collaboration with international departments and external partners.
- Maintain and develop internal tools/databases (e.g., in Odoo) to support expansion planning.
- Independently manage smaller projects or tasks within the Europe strategy.
Requirements
- Enrolled student in Business Administration (BWL), Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
- Initial experience or strong interest in business case analysis and economic evaluation of new market opportunities.
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint, especially for financial models and presentations.
- Analytical and structured thinking with a data-driven approach.
- Basic knowledge or interest in coding/vibe-coding.
- Interest in international markets and developing business strategies for the European region.
- Independent and self-responsible work style.
- Good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, or BI software (e.g., Odoo, Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.
- Programming experience, including with AI assistance, is advantageous.
