About the Role

Lead Hope House's Impaired Driver Program (IDP), a specialized education program making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and the community. Serve as the NYS DMV-designated IDP Director, providing leadership and oversight for program compliance, instructor support, scheduling, documentation, participant enrollment, and overall operations.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership, administration, and operational oversight of the Impaired Driver Program.
Ensure compliance with NYS DMV requirements, regulations, and program standards.
Supervise, train, and support IDP instructors in the delivery of approved curriculum.
Oversee participant enrollment, scheduling, documentation, records, and program reporting.
Monitor program operations, compliance, audits, and continuous improvement activities.
Maintain effective communication with the DMV, IDP stakeholders, and the IDP Directors Association.
Facilitate IDP classes as needed and support participants throughout the program.
Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Collaborate with Hope House leadership and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to meet all NYS DMV requirements for an Impaired Driver Program Director, including completing Prime for Life training upon hire.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with staff and community partners.
