About the Role
Build and ship new high impact features and improvements to the AY App using Dart and Flutter, contributing to one of the most widely-used applications built with Flutter. Work closely with other experienced engineers, product managers, QA, and designers to ship new components and high-leverage features. Proactively identify and seek to resolve technical debt and build internal tools to enhance team productivity. Have a direct impact on team processes through regular agile retrospectives.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship new high impact features and improvements to the AY App using Dart and Flutter
- Work closely with other experienced engineers, product managers, QA, and designers to ship new components and high-leverage features
- Proactively identify and seek to resolve technical debt
- Build internal tools to enhance team productivity
- Have a direct impact on team processes through regular agile retrospectives
Requirements
- 4+ years of programming experience
- At least 1 year of App development experience
- Extensive experience in Dart and Flutter
- Strong expertise in UI development and building complex frontend logic
- Deep understanding of building complex frontend logic
- Ability to write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code
- Ability to actively keep the quality of the code base in check
- Design awareness and ability to collaborate closely with designers
- Familiarity with gRPC and Go in a shop backend environment
- Expertise in UI and Animation development
