Responsibilities
- Provide companionship, conversation, and social interaction.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping.
- Offer safety supervision and mobility assistance to prevent falls.
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.
- Transport clients for errands and appointments.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with prescription refills.
- Follow care plans and report notes and health status changes to the Care Team.
- Facilitate and manage medical appointments and related health activities.
- Attend monthly in-service trainings.
- Maintain an upbeat, compassionate, positive, and energetic attitude.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a caregiver.
- Ability to lift significant weight and assist in transferring clients.
- Valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
- Willingness to commute within Fairfield County, CT.
- Legally authorized to work within the United States.
- Possess a bank account for direct deposit.
- No serious criminal offenses confirmed by background check.
- Must be a driver with a car.
