About the Role
Join DPD, a leader in green logistics and tech-driven delivery, as a 7.5 Tonne Driver. This role offers a clear routine and opportunities for career growth within a company committed to sustainability. You will be responsible for a designated local route, ensuring efficient and professional delivery services to customers.
Responsibilities
- Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes, ensuring safety, professionalism, and efficiency.
- Utilize industry-leading Saturn handheld devices for delivery management and progress tracking.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing a positive delivery experience.
- Load and unload parcels using equipment such as sack barrows and hand trucks.
Requirements
- A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence.
- DQC/CPC accreditation.
- Ideally 6 months of recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
- Physical fitness to handle the lifting involved in the job.
- Professionalism, approachability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to doing a good job and treating customers and colleagues with respect.
