About the Role
The Banquet Houseman plays a vital role in ensuring the successful setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events, meetings, and special functions. This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of six months or less.
Responsibilities
- Arrange banquet rooms according to event specifications.
- Transport and set up tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, and other equipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after functions.
- Receive and properly sort and store event products daily.
- Perform light and heavy furniture moving, including tables, chairs, buffet furniture, chaffers, glassware, plateware, and flatware.
- Perform light cleaning such as window washing, furniture polishing, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, floor cleaning and polishing, and emptying trash cans and bus tubs.
- Identify when supplies are needed and report to the supervisor.
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
- Assist management and other associates with the setup and breakdown of events.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage areas.
- Perform other assigned tasks as directed by the supervisor.
- Inquire about additional duties as the workload diminishes.
- Perform other duties as required.

- One month of related experience or training.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
