About the Role

The Manager – Client Finance Team will partner with senior leadership to improve financial performance and drive profitable growth. This role involves providing financial support across an industry within Publicis Sapient International, requiring an experienced finance professional who can influence senior stakeholders and provide financial insights in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own weekly revenue estimation process, identifying risks and opportunities, and communicating them to senior leaders.
  • Lead P&L reviews with Finance and Industry leadership, extracting key messages and actions to drive improved financial performance.
  • Use quarterly results and profit modeling to maintain a full-year profitability outlook and identify plans to manage risks and improve profitability.
  • Support Client Services and Project Management Teams in improving profitability on existing projects.
  • Help the business understand how factors like pricing, contract structure, accounting treatment, and staffing impact project and client profitability.
  • Support the Commercial Success team with deal modeling, review processes, and providing context on the impact of new deals.
  • Partner with Controllership and Revenue teams to support monthly and quarterly closes, collaborating on solutions for new and complex transactions.
  • Coordinate quarterly forecast and annual target-setting processes for the Industry.
  • Manage junior team members, enabling knowledge sharing, prioritizing work, and promoting consistent ways of working.
  • Oversee the efficiency and quality of reports, information, and workflow.
  • Partner with other teams to ensure financial data and reporting consistency and accuracy.
  • Partner with Agentic Ops to strengthen operational discipline, consistency, and excellence.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis, projects, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any subject.
  • Accounting qualification (CIMA / ACA / ACCA or similar) preferred, qualified by experience will also be considered.
  • 7+ years of related work experience, with professional services or consultancy companies preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to adapt communications and level of detail depending on the audience.
  • Ability to influence people and drive process, particularly at a Senior Management level.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to proactively manage business challenges, design analysis, and implement solutions.
  • Experience navigating large organizations, with the ability to influence stakeholders through clear storytelling and data-driven insights.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to take action based on financial analysis.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce, Oracle, or similar systems is a plus.
  • Hands-on, enjoying teamwork and the ability to perform in an international matrix environment.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
