About the Role

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, patient-care areas, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with directions and reporting unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
Have at least six months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
