About the Role
The Finance Team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance for strategic and operational decisions, inform investors, and ensure financial health and reporting obligations. This role focuses on the Company’s statutory financial reporting for various international entities, collaborating with other teams for accurate and timely reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage the compliance reporting and audit process for various international entities, coordinating deliverables with 3rd party accountants, auditors, tax, legal, and other cross-functional teams.
- Maintain relationships with external auditors and 3rd party accountants to support statutory financials.
- Maintain a process for the timely and accurate preparation of external financial reports in accordance with appropriate GAAP guidelines.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial statements per US GAAP and local GAAP reporting standards, including understanding GAAP to stat differences and reviewing financial statements.
- Prepare and compile supporting documents for external filings.
- Monitor and assess new accounting pronouncements applicable to the company, focusing on external reporting.
- Stay updated on company and industry changes to ensure financial statements reflect new developments.
- Prepare flux and variance explanations for the audit process of various international entities.
- Improve and document general processes for assigned areas.
- Drive and support ad hoc projects and analyses.
Requirements
- Understanding of international financial reporting processes and ability to navigate complex accounting items.
- Accounting knowledge with an understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Exceptional analytical skills and strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLookups.
- Ability to work under pressure and perform several tasks concurrently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with superior attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Proactive, able to multi-task, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
