About the Role
Restaurant Associates is seeking a creative and operationally sharp Marketing & Merchandising Manager to enhance the appeal of corporate dining cafés, promotions, and menu boards. This role is crucial for bringing elevated corporate cafés, dynamic food halls, curated retail dining, and best-in-class catering operations to life across a national portfolio, based in NYC.
Responsibilities
- Develop seasonal promotions, build merchandising programs, and design collateral.
- Manage a monthly marketing calendar in collaboration with culinary, operations, and client teams.
- Create and oversee digital and printed menus, signage, kiosk and mobile app visuals, and marketing templates.
- Develop merchandising guidelines and planograms for food, beverage, and retail spaces.
- Manage vendor communications and the ordering process for merchandising elements, smallwares, uniforms, and signage fixtures.
- Track, analyze, and report on marketing campaign performance, sharing insights with stakeholders.
- Contribute to annual business planning.
- Support new account openings and transitions.
- Lead monthly marketing meetings with key stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in hospitality, retail, design, and consumer behavior.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing or merchandising within hospitality, food & beverage, or retail.
- Proven track record of creative execution backed by operational discipline.
- Strong design sensibility and compelling writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Comfortable presenting to clients and hands-on execution for launches.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular).
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
