About the Role
Janus Henderson is seeking a professional to manage the accounts payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, credit card expenses, and personal expenses. This role involves managing payments, reviewing workflow reports, recommending process improvements, and establishing internal controls. The position requires vigilance in monitoring control procedures and updating AP documentation.
Responsibilities
- Manage the accounts payable team to ensure invoices, credit card and personal expenses are processed in a timely manner
- Manage payments generated by the Accounts Payable team to ensure they are processed correctly
- Regular review of pending workflow invoice report to ensure invoices are approved within the agreed SLA timeline
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement to existing systems and procedures
- Establish a robust internal control environment for new processes, working closely with Internal Audit to ensure that best practice is followed
- Be vigilant to any break down in internal control procedures
- Regular review and update of AP procedure notes
- Carry out other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience in managing an Accounts Payable function essential
- Individual must be highly motivated and well organized
- Accurate, diligent and be concerned with detail

- Must have good computer skills and be able to quickly learn and adapt to new systems
- Deadline driven individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Must be able to work without supervision
- You will be expected to understand the regulatory obligations of the firm and abide by the regulated entity requirements and JHI policies applicable for your role
- You should be willing to adhere to the provisions of our Investment Advisory Code of Ethics related to personal securities activities and other disclosure and certification requirements, including past political contributions and political activities

Skills
- Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas)
- Experience in using SAP
- Experience with SAP S4/Hana
- Experienced in the processing and design in the utilization of Purchase Orders

Salary/Compensations
- Position may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
