About the Role
Develop software solutions for workflow and workplace management, focusing on pragmatism and the goals of the in|sure Ecosphere. Utilize flexibility in technology and problem-solving throughout the entire development lifecycle, from implementation and testing to documentation. Analyze and resolve customer-reported incidents and errors, and assess framework vulnerabilities with software architects. Collaborate within a dedicated team, taking ownership of your areas, with a three-day in-person workshop every six weeks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and advance software solutions for workflow and workplace management.
- Apply pragmatism while keeping the goals of the in|sure Ecosphere in mind.
- Be flexible in the use of technologies and in finding solutions.
- Present solutions in workshops with software engineers and challenge them.
- Implement solutions and secure them with tests.
- Create documentation for implemented solutions.
- Analyze customer-reported incidents or errors and resolve them.
- Examine framework vulnerabilities for criticality with software architects.
- Take responsibility for your topics within a team.
- Participate in three-day workshops every six weeks to work on current topics with colleagues.
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist in application development (Fachinformatiker) or a degree in computer science.
- At least three years of relevant professional experience as a software engineer.
- Proficient in Java backend development and architecture.
- Experience with Java and Quarkus for developing performant, maintainable applications.
- Knowledge of microservice architectures.
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to translate business requirements into clearly defined areas of responsibility.
- Experience with Clean Architecture to keep business logic independent of technical details.
- Experience with event-based communication using Kafka.
- Knowledge of how loosely coupled services work together reliably.
- Experience with MongoDB and SQL databases.
- Ability to select appropriate data models and persistence solutions based on business requirements.
- Curiosity and enjoyment of learning, facilitating easy onboarding into new releases, features, and technologies.
- Confident use of AI tools in your field, critical evaluation of results.
- Support customers and adessi in leveraging AI potential.
- Very good German language skills (at least C1 level).
