About the Role
ABC Supply, the nation’s largest distributor of select exterior and interior building materials, is seeking motivated, success-driven individuals to join its Branch Manager in Training Program. Associates will train to manage and grow an ABC Supply branch of their own, operating in an entrepreneurial manner with high earning potential.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and take responsibility for the branch’s profit and loss accountability
- Hire associates and monitor their performance
- Maintain adequate and accurate inventory, and conduct inventory and cash control self-audits
- Set and monitor pricing and ensure acceptable margin on sales
- Oversee outside and inside sales teams and ensure sales growth
- Maintain and improve customer satisfaction, and ensure acceptable service levels and timely deliveries
- Generate associate work schedules and control overtime
- Determine additional products to add to the existing product line
- Ensure company safety policies and DOT requirements are followed
- Successfully manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
