About the Role

Responsibilities

Supervise warehouse personnel and operational activities to ensure customer service and safety adherence.
Assist with scheduling and overseeing daily assignments of warehouse personnel for quality control and productivity.
Supervise and assist in the storage and handling of production material for shipping and receiving.
Track, adjust, and approve employee work hours in the payroll system.
Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse facility.
Assign tasks and duties daily, including shipping, receiving, and proper storage of parts.
Enforce and coach personnel in safe work practices and monitor on-the-job training.
Analyze or resolve work problems and assist workers with concerns.
Establish or adjust work procedures to meet deadlines.
Perform warehouse activities such as parts pulling, staging, loading/unloading, and stocking trucks.
Assist with personnel management, including interviewing, hiring, performance evaluations, and terminations.
Perform duties aligned with shipping and/or receiving.
Assume other duties as assigned.
Supervise the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling, reviewing work, ensuring quality standards, and training staff.
Make recommendations for hiring, termination, and pay adjustments.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED.
3+ years of warehouse experience.
Possess a forklift certification and be able to operate a forklift in close quarters.
Bilingual (English/French or English/Spanish).
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and draw and interpret graphs.
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and graphics.
Ability to create, maintain, and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations.
Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills.
Ability to train others in functional areas, interact with others, and make presentations.
Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
