About the Role

Make a lasting impression on patients in urgent need, as a Patient Care Technician. Care for patients while you draw blood and take vital signs-when expertise and customer service makes all the difference. Accurately measure and record patient vital signs including body temperature, pulse respiration, and blood pressure. Report abnormal findings, put patients at ease and be the eyes and ears of our award-winning nursing team. Collaborate with a team of nurses to earn your reputation every day and Put Patients First.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Qualified candidates must have experience as a Nurse's Aide or an equivalent role.
• A high school diploma is required.
• Completion of an approved phlebotomy program is required.
• A Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required.
• Energetic, approachable individuals with a desire to Put Patients First are sought.
• All roles require on-site presence.
• All employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
• NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
