About the Role
The Beauty Advisor will interact with clients, provide an elevated client experience, and drive sales using their knowledge of beauty products and services. This role focuses on personalized client assistance to enhance their shopping experience and achieve sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed individual cosmetic sales goals, event sales goals, and department daily & monthly sales goals.
- Provide a dynamic service presence to each location.
- Identify client needs through appropriate questioning to provide guidance or directions.
- Participate on social media (Instagram, etc.) to grow personal brand and business.
- Demonstrate professional make-up and treatment consultation and application.
- Maintain a high level of service by creating and developing excellent client relationships as the brand expert and department representative.
- Cross-sell beyond one line to drive results and build the client’s basket.
- Proactively offer in-store services to personalize and enhance the client's shopping experience.
- Act as a liaison between the company and Account Executives, maintaining a positive image.
- Utilize online clienteling resource tool to record and maintain client information and preferences.
- Provide an exceptional client experience from approach, to application, to closing the sale and following up.
- Maintain counter standards by ensuring a clean, tidy, and welcoming space.
- Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year retail experience, within the beauty industry.
- Previously demonstrated successful sales experience, achieving or exceeding goals.
- Ability to learn and utilize online clienteling tools and software.
- Comfortable using social media and technology.
