About the Role
Crystal Run Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Neurologist to join their team. Optum is a physician-led, patient-centered, team-based care organization focused on improving clinician work-life balance and patient care. This role offers the opportunity to practice evidence-based medicine, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and contribute to improving care for millions.
Responsibilities
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of neurological disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system, including strokes, dementia, seizures, and Parkinson's disease
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans for patients
- Clinical care of Neurology patients
- Patient Assessments
- Formulating Care Plans
- Finding Gaps in Care Delivery
- Communicating and Teaching patients about personal Care Management
- Educate and empower your patients to take ownership of their health
Requirements
- Unrestricted licensure in the state of NY at time of employment
- Board Certification or board eligibility in Neurology
- Active and unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
