About the Role

Join Aon as a Processing Coordinator, Personal Lines, where you'll play a critical role in supporting brokers, managing policy transactions, and helping deliver outstanding service to clients across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Entering client data into our broker management system and web-based applications.
  • Producing documents for our Consumer Products Group (CPG) customers and supporting account executives nationally.
  • Developing knowledge of system workflows and processes, products and services, and staying informed of program changes.
  • Entering data with attention to detail, maintaining quality controls, and checking work for accuracy.
  • Responding to requests and activities.
  • Producing documents, endorsements, invoices, and letters.
  • Supporting data management and projects, working with Excel spreadsheets, and collaborating with team members.
  • Responding quickly and accurately to processing questions.
  • Completing assigned tasks accurately and on time.
  • Reviewing and correcting accounting discrepancies.
  • Entering new business applications, policy change requests, and cancellations into insurer portals.
  • Following up with brokers for any additional information underwriters require.
  • Performing various other duties as directed by the Department Manager.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

Skills

  • Minimum 1-2 years or more data processing experience.
  • Knowledge of insurer portals is an asset.
  • Experience in Personal Lines or Commercial Property/Casualty underwriting is an asset.
  • CIP designation or working towards designation, and/or broker license is an asset.
  • Bilingual English/French is an asset.
  • General knowledge of all areas of general insurance coverage.
  • Knowledge of Aon portfolio of available client services and products.
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, decision making and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
