About the Role

The Global Partnerships organization collaborates with a wide range of partners to leverage Google's strengths for their business success. This team supports Google's Product teams by establishing essential partnerships that enhance user experiences across various Google products including advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, and Payments. The Business Strategy and Operations team provides critical business insights through analytics and assists teams in advancing partnerships, focusing on aligning company priorities with effective operations and evolving early-stage ideas into future growth initiatives. In this role, you will oversee Strategy and Operations for Search, working closely with the lead for Gemini App and GenAI Partnerships to ensure organizational alignment. You will collaborate directly with Knowledge and Information Partnerships (K&IP) leaders, providing operational expertise and executive-level narratives to support the global organization's planning and execution of key priorities aligned with Google's product mission. Your work will involve collaboration with partnerships and cross-functional teams such as Product Management/Engineering (PM/Eng), Product Operations (ProdOps), and Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with VPs, Directors, and managers to develop the search partnerships and ecosystem strategy, growth drivers, and business plan, becoming an integral part of the leadership team and trusted advisor to the Search Partnership Directors.
  • Drive and shape perspective on how Search Partnerships should evolve strategy and Go-to-Market (GTM) given Search product evolution and external market dynamics.
  • Identify specific product, partner, and ecosystem opportunities to deliver against product area goals and support growth objectives.
  • Shape how we operate the business, how we interface with cross-functional and regional teams, and how we organize around impact.
  • Lead a high-performing strategy team, foster excellent team norms, support the professional development of each team member, and build a trusted advisor relationship with critical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, partnerships, or corporate advisory.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience in people or team management.

Skills

  • Deep expertise in multiple critical business areas.
  • Strong understanding of the broader industry and engaged landscape.
  • Extensive experience leading and managing high-performing teams.

Experience Level

  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, partnerships, or corporate advisory.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience in people or team management.
  • 13 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, partnerships or corporate advisory experience.

Education Level

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Salary/Compensations

  • US: $234000 - $325000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
