About the Role
Assist with the supervision of the restructuring and recovery process from planning to review and completion.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a portfolio of insolvency cases and ensure efficient and proactive progression.
- Participate in independent business review and other advisory work.
- Liaise with appointee and other staff to ensure updates on relevant issues.
- Brief and motivate staff to complete cases efficiently.
- Review staff work and provide constructive performance feedback.
- Provide on-the-job training to staff.
- Ensure all work is reviewed and files are completed to a review-ready state.
- Attend final meetings with clients and relevant manager or appointee.
- Identify opportunities for providing further services.
- Assist manager and partner/director in meeting client needs and extending service range.
- Exceed client service level expectations where possible.
- Attend marketing events as appropriate.
- Review statutory documents for compliance with Insolvency regulations and standards.
- Prepare case reviews and brief partners on work carried out and business issues.
- Assist managers and partners/directors in managing WIP and debtors on a client-by-client basis.
Requirements
- Experience of corporate (administration/liquidation) and property (LPA) insolvencies is necessary.
- Knowledge of insolvency rules and statutory requirements.
- Quick to learn/adapt to new procedures/situations.
- Ability to organize and work on several assignments simultaneously.
