About the Role
Miller Transportation Group is immediately hiring a Diesel Mechanic Technician for our Miller Truck Leasing division in Rochester, NY. Join a family-owned business with over 100 years of experience and a large fleet of trucks.
Responsibilities
- Perform general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles, including refrigerated vehicles
- Diagnose, document, and repair equipment following proper warranty procedures
- Work inside and in the yard doing yard checks and repairs
Requirements
- Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors
- A valid CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to acquire a Commercial Driver License with the assistance of our trainer
- Hand tools
