About the Role
Pivotal Health is seeking motivated sleep professionals to join our growing team in Smithtown, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a highly respected clinical team while building a rewarding long-term career. Responsibilities
- Conduct overnight polysomnographic sleep studies
- Prepare patients for testing and explain procedures
- Apply electrodes, sensors, and monitoring equipment according to industry standards
- Calibrate and troubleshoot diagnostic equipment
- Monitor and evaluate patient physiological data throughout the night
- Perform PAP mask fittings and troubleshooting
- Score and analyze sleep, respiratory, and cardiac events
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Ensure compliance with all laboratory, regulatory, and safety standards
- Deliver outstanding patient-focused care and support
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Polysomnography Program
- Current New York PSG License and/or CRT/RRT License
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Required immunizations and health clearances
- Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills
- Candidates without an RPSGT credential must possess the required NY PSG and/or RT licensure
