About the Role
As a Route Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and professional delivery of OEM automotive parts, ensuring high standards of customer service and satisfaction while meeting commercial customers' needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage home-daily delivery routes, planning daily schedules based on customer needs.
- Safely load and unload automotive parts, adhering to safety protocols and preventing freight damage.
- Perform pre and post-trip maintenance checks on assigned box trucks.
- Accurately deliver parts, collect payments, present bills and receipts professionally, and assist customers.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork neatly and accurately at the end of each route.
Requirements
- 1+ years of professional driving experience operating a 20-26ft box truck.
- A safe driving record with no more than 1 accident and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and manage high-volume, physical activity during deliveries.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to identify various automotive parts.
- A valid driver's license with no major restrictions.
- Valid DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one.
- Valid driver's license.
- MVR authorization form.
- Driver employment application.
- Safety performance history report.
