About the Role
ALBASPROSS gGmbH organizes the all-day program at Berlin schools as an independent provider of child and youth welfare. We shape schools into a place worth living for learning and leisure with comprehensive offerings in sports, games, art, music, and other cultural techniques. Responsibilities
- School distance prevention and intervention: Recognizing signs of school distancing and early intervention, as well as developing and implementing preventive measures to avoid school.
- Individual case support and counseling: Individual support for students in challenging life situations and conducting counseling sessions with children, parents, and teachers.
- Social pedagogical offers and projects: Development and implementation of projects to promote social skills and integration, organization of workshops on topics such as conflict resolution, resilience, and self-assertion, design of open offers for the individual development of students.
- Networking and cooperation: Cooperation with youth welfare offices, counseling centers, therapeutic facilities, and other relevant institutions, participation in interdisciplinary network meetings, and involvement in school committees and steering groups.
- Documentation and evaluation: Recording and evaluating the measures carried out for quality assurance, creating reports and documentation for school social work, and involvement in school committees and steering groups.
Requirements
- Social pedagogical degree (B.A. or Diploma) or comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in school social work at primary schools in socially challenging situations, ideally in Berlin.
- iseF further training desirable.
- Sound pedagogical expertise and knowledge in working with the concepts of open all-day primary schools, including municipal contexts and structures, as well as SGB VIII.
- Confident demeanor and high cooperation, communication, and teamwork skills.
- High degree of responsibility, loyalty, and self-organization.
- Interest in a long-term perspective at ALBA BERLIN.
- Proof of measles immunity confirmed by a doctor (if born after 1970) or a medical certificate of contraindication.
- Extended police clearance certificate not older than three months.
