About the Role
This role focuses on making marketing performance visible by supporting the setup and maintenance of dashboards and the MarTech stack. You will ensure marketing data is understandable and assist with initial AI-driven automations, working with clear data rules under guidance and in coordination with marketing, sales, IT, and data privacy teams. Responsibilities
- Support the setup and maintenance of dashboards and channel-specific KPIs using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, and LinkedIn.
- Ensure campaigns are tagged with a consistent UTM system and that definitions used are documented.
- Prepare monthly marketing KPIs, check data for completeness and plausibility, and help establish reliable baseline values and trends per channel.
- Document deviations and data gaps and coordinate with responsible contacts.
- Act as the analytical contact person for channel performance and jointly derive concrete optimizations with the team.
- Support a consistent UTM system, regularly check campaign tags, and document changes, assumptions, and results comprehensibly.
- Prepare insights understandably for the team and create short guides or introductions for recurring reports and tools.
- Systematically observe visibility in selected AI answers and AI searches.
- Document search queries, results, and changes, and jointly derive initial hypotheses and content measures with the team.
- Support the setup and further development of the MarTech stack, including structured documentation of analytics and automation tools used, checking requirements, and performing preparatory tests and coordination for system integrations.
- Support the connection of marketing data to the CRM in close coordination with the sales team and in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Support the maintenance and quality assurance of tracking and remarketing within the scope of approved concepts.
- Document measurement points, check technical functionality, and report deviations.
- Support the conception, testing, and documentation of initial AI-driven automations for recurring marketing processes.
- Check results before use and do not develop automations that trigger unverified external communication or process sensitive data.
Requirements
- Enrolled in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration with a focus on Digital or Data, Marketing Management with an Analytics focus, or a comparable degree program.
- Interest in how data, technology, and marketing work together meaningfully.
- First practical experience from internships, university projects, student initiatives, or volunteer work is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Proficiency with common Microsoft Office applications.
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken (min. C1).
- Structured, careful, and independent work style.
- Willingness to learn about MarTech, new tools, and AI-driven work.
- Enjoy working with various internal and external contacts and possess strong communication skills.
