About the Role
We are a leading home services provider seeking a responsible Oil Delivery Driver to promptly deliver home heating oil to residential customers using tank trucks and/or tractor trailers. This role represents the company professionally, aiming to increase profitability and customer satisfaction. Opportunities for advancement and overtime during the busy winter season are available.
Responsibilities
- Make routine deliveries to customer's homes, providing timely and safe oil deliveries.
- Follow company policies and procedures to promote safety.
- Adhere to DOT regulations.
- Follow route and time schedule.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle.
- Complete logs and reports.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Valid CDL Class A or B driver's license with Tank & HazMat endorsements.
- Ability to meet the company's motor vehicle policy.
- TWIC card is a plus.
- Ability to meet all DOT requirements including road test and drug screen.
- Must be reliable, diligent, and dependable.
- Ability to effectively utilize maps and locate addresses.
- Oil delivery experience is a plus.
- Possible nights and weekend work.
- Potential overtime.
