About the Role
As a Reservationist at Water's Edge Inn and Old Forge Campground, you will be the first and last impression for guests, managing reservations and ensuring a positive guest experience. This role is central to providing excellent service and creating memorable stays.
Responsibilities
- Manage all guest reservations, including bookings, check-ins, and check-outs.
- Provide top-notch customer service to all guests, addressing questions and concerns.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Housekeeping teams to ensure rooms and facilities are prepared.
- Inform guests about policies, health, and safety procedures.
- Suggest improvements to processes and procedures.
- Onboard and train new team members.
- Address guest complaints and concerns professionally, finding satisfactory solutions.
Requirements
- Friendly and outgoing demeanor.
- Comfortable using reservation software, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone/email.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in the lodging industry, reservations, and guest services is a plus but not required.
