About the Role

We are seeking a Manager to support our Media and Entertainment sector clients within the London Corporate & Multinational tax team. This role involves managing a client portfolio, providing tax compliance and advisory services, and contributing to the growth of the practice with a focus on UK and International Media and Entertainment clients.

Responsibilities

Managing a portfolio of clients including owner-managed businesses, private equity backed, and large, listed and multinational groups.
Supporting clients on their corporation tax affairs, including annual corporation tax work and Creative Industry Tax Reliefs claims.
Working on tax advisory projects such as project financing, transactions/M&A tax, and group reorganisations.
Participating in business development across the Media and Entertainment sector.
Supporting Partners and Directors in advising clients in the Media and Entertainment sector on all areas of corporation tax.
Supervising and reviewing work prepared by junior team members.
Delivering corporate tax compliance and tax advisory services.
Overseeing and managing your own portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact.
Coaching and developing junior staff members.
Proactively seeking new business development opportunities.
Participating in pitch and proposal sessions.
Organising the delivery of tax work and problem-solving on a daily basis.
Building internal and external networks.
Collaborating with others and demonstrating strong communication skills.
Being commercially minded and understanding client requirements.

Requirements

Qualified chartered accountant or tax advisor (ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent).
Post-qualified experience working in a corporate tax team, in practice or in industry, managing projects.
Solid, up-to-date knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation.
Experience in reviewing work and supervising staff in a tax environment.
Demonstrable experience managing corporation tax compliance portfolios.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent communication skills for supporting the team and delivering work to clients.
Flexibility to juggle client commitments and meet deadlines.
Demonstrable business development experience.
Practical application of the suite of Creative Industry Tax Reliefs.
Excellent client-facing skills.
