About the Role
This role is for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer who works embedded within a client's enterprise to ensure complex AI platforms function effectively in real-world organizational settings. The focus is on owning outcomes such as time-to-value, adoption, reliability, and scalability, rather than just delivery milestones. This position bridges the gap between successful AI pilots and scalable AI capabilities by translating platform functionality into measurable business value within enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Embed directly with client engineering and business teams to deploy, scale, and operationalize AI platforms within enterprise environments.
- Own production outcomes end-to-end, including time-to-value, reliability, adoption velocity, and scalability, tied to business metrics.
- Transition from ambiguous business problems to working production systems through rapid experimentation.
- Design and govern AI architectures across the full enterprise stack.
- Translate technical architecture into business impact for client CTO, CFO, and CISO, shaping use case roadmaps and AI adoption strategy.
- Build reusable patterns and playbooks for client ownership post-engagement.
- Lead design workshops, proofs of concept, architecture walkthroughs, and code-with sessions.
- Codify patterns and delivery learnings to scale across engagements and contribute to practice growth.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of engineering experience with cloud-native systems (APIs, microservices, containerization, serverless).
- Minimum of 1 year of deep expertise in designing and deploying agentic solutions in production environments.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with AI platforms, including building abstraction layers for multi-provider pipelines.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience deploying to production, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and debugging.
- Demonstrated end-to-end delivery ownership in a client-embedded environment.
- Proven ability to articulate business value and quantify deployment impact for financial stakeholders.
- Experience presenting to and building trust with senior client stakeholders (CTO, CFO, or CISO level).
