About the Role

The Project Manager, Enterprise Onboarding, is a client-facing role supporting all lines of business in the onboarding and implementation of new business. This role develops and executes project plans for onboarding new clients, plan sponsors, and partners, ensuring adherence to service delivery models and quality standards while delivering a positive customer experience. The Project Manager also leads strategic projects, supports procurement activities, and responds to RFPs.

Responsibilities

  • Works with various internal teams to configure/adapt solutions for non-standard implementations.
  • Develops and executes implementation project plans in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manages overall project governance, including stakeholder communication, meeting cadence, facilitation, documentation, status reporting, and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinates internal and external resource requirements and monitors deliverables.
  • Adjusts plans and communication to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ensures implementation project documents are complete, current, and managed according to established procedures.
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously and acts as backup to other Project Managers.
  • Coaches business resources and other project managers on processes, tools, and responsibilities for successful client projects.
  • Delivers projects on time and monitors client feedback.
  • Develops test/quality plans to ensure client expectations and scope of work are delivered.
  • Builds and fosters cooperative and productive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and customer contacts.
  • Works proactively to limit and/or diffuse escalations and escalates issues accordingly to mitigate risk and client disruption.
  • Interacts with the Management Team to ensure results are achieved.
  • Participates in special projects such as responding to RFPs for new business opportunities and other sales-related initiatives.
  • Participates in finalist presentations to secure new business, acting as a GS ambassador.
  • Guides stakeholders and manages expectations regarding Standard Service Delivery Guidelines.
  • Participates in continuous improvement by reviewing client feedback, outcomes, and best practices to evolve processes and services.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • PMP Certification preferred or working towards certification within the first year of the role.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Industry knowledge (insurance, group benefits, administration, health services, and/or related industry).
  • Ability to influence and lead others to achieve project deliverables.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize accountabilities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong customer focus while balancing business expectations.
  • Strong relationship management and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Project Management tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.
  • Able to travel when required.
  • Able to accommodate a flexible schedule when required.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
