About the Role

We are hiring an Investment Solutions Director to join PMX Spark Foundry and help clients turn complex media challenges into smart, commercially effective investment strategies. You will become a trusted partner to clients and planning teams while expanding your knowledge across the wider media landscape. This is an exciting opportunity to influence major investment decisions, champion innovation and help shape market-leading work.

Responsibilities

  • Build a strong understanding of your clients’ business goals, commercial commitments and media challenges, then recommend investment solutions that address them.
  • Act as a trusted client partner in briefings, quarterly business reviews and key meetings, providing clear market perspectives and practical recommendations.
  • Collaborate with planning, strategy and channel specialists to develop integrated, innovative and commercially effective media plans.
  • Lead investment forecasting for your clients, ensuring submissions are accurate, timely and aligned with relevant commercial targets.
  • Monitor developments including pricing, measurement, AI, sustainability and changes to the digital ecosystem, helping clients navigate emerging opportunities and challenges.
  • Shape investment responses for new business opportunities, creating a clear cross-channel narrative and coordinating input from activation specialists.
  • Share knowledge across the investment community, build expertise beyond your original specialism and contribute to effective ways of working across channels.

Requirements

  • Strong media investment experience, with specialist knowledge in at least one area such as AV, Publishing and Audio, Programmatic, Social or Search.
  • A clear understanding of implementational planning and buying, together with the ability to translate media knowledge into effective client solutions.
  • Confidence building trusted relationships with clients and communicating considered recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness, including the ability to understand client commitments, trading considerations and opportunities to create additional value.
  • A collaborative approach and experience of working effectively with planning, strategy, investment and activation teams.
  • Curiosity about the changing media landscape and a commitment to developing broader cross-channel knowledge.
