About the Role

Richmond Community Services is seeking a Clinical Care Support Specialist to manage the medical and administrative needs of individuals served at their 919 location. This role involves coordinating appointments, transportation, preparing records, tracking follow-up care, communicating with providers and families, and maintaining organized documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track medical and specialty appointments.
  • Communicate with healthcare providers, nursing, leadership, families, and guardians.
  • Prepare appointment packets and ensure clinical information is ready.
  • Track physician recommendations, test results, and follow-up needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and information in Therap, QuickMAR, and other agency systems.
  • Support audits, regulatory surveys, meetings, projects, and quality initiatives.
  • Ensure all details are managed and nothing is overlooked.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of secretarial/administrative experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple staff members and/or management-level staff preferred.
  • Accurate typing speed of 50+ words per minute.
  • Knowledge of advanced clerical practices and procedures.
  • Minute-taking experience is a major plus.
  • Ability to work occasional early mornings, late afternoons/evenings, and weekends.
  • Valid NY, NJ, or CT driver's license and access to reliable transportation to travel between agency locations.
