About the Role
As Spa Manager, you will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them, embodying our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsibility and caring, fun and quirky, and pioneering wellness. Sustainability, Wellness, and Out of the Ordinary experiences are at the core of Six Senses, and you will safeguard these pillars, ensuring full knowledge and active participation in all brand initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Keep abreast of industry trends and practices, updating knowledge and skills to improve product and service offerings.
- Continually focus on the rejuvenation of the spa experience.
- Constantly assess spa treatments, exercise classes, wellness facilities, and equipment to remain relevant and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
- Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, ensuring performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
- Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the Spa team, including recruitment and onboarding, training and development, and host relations, in conjunction with the Director of Wellness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in similar luxury spas and health clubs with proven references.
- Graduated or possess broad knowledge of anatomy and physiology, massage therapy, and beauty therapy at NVQ, ITEC, or CIDESCO level.
- Understanding and specialization of various beauty products, aesthetic appliances, their specifications, and uses.
- Knowledge in the use of facial, nail, or other beauty technology as required to fulfill spa treatments.
- Service-oriented with an eye for detail.
- Self-motivated and energetic.
- Fluent in English.
- Hold the right to work in the UK.
