About the Role
Gain insight into the daily operations of a sea rescue organization, build connections with staff and volunteers globally, and expand your professional network.
Responsibilities
- Provide general support to the HR & Crewing department.
- Respond to applicant inquiries, focusing on Basecamp and Volunteer Crew positions.
- Screen applications for preliminary selection by hiring managers.
- Collect and maintain data for the Crewing Talent Pool.
- Handle administrative aspects of crew rotation.
- Create PowerPoint presentations and meeting minutes.
- Prepare social media posts for applicant recruitment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program, ideally with an HR focus, and remain enrolled for the entire internship duration (mandatory internship).
- Alternatives may be considered as voluntary internships of 3 months upon request.
- Possess strong communication skills with an open, empathetic demeanor and enjoy direct interaction with applicants and colleagues.
- Demonstrate a structured, independent work style and absolute discretion when handling sensitive personal data.
- Show political interest, activism, and a desire to engage in supporting refugees.
- Have good English language skills for international teams or applicants.
- Be proficient in adapting to new systems and comfortable using collaborative software for remote work.
