About the Role
This role involves performing shipping and receiving functions within a distribution facility, including daily computer transactions. The company emphasizes providing meaningful opportunities for learning, growth, and career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Operates a Reach Truck safely and responsibly.
- Practices high standards of GMPs and Quality Control procedures.
- Documents safety checks on tow motor prior to use.
- Ensures accurate documentation of all paperwork.
- Completes activity movement sheets daily.
- Rotates stock in a FIFO format.
- Selects the proper product for customer orders.
- Maintains a clean work environment daily.
- Maintains and operates RF terminals daily.
- Performs monthly physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Works closely with production departments.
- Maintains open communication between fellow workers.
- Reports any product or property damage to supervisor.
Requirements
- Experienced forklift operation/knowledge.
- Experience with a stand-up deep-reach truck is a plus.
- Perishable and dry goods warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong communication abilities, written and verbal.
- Knowledge of computer software.
- Familiarity with inventory control, cycle counts, and FIFO systems formats is preferred.
