About the Role
As a Commercial Manager in Home Claims, you will be responsible for executing the commercial and trading strategy. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve ambitious targets, supporting the transformation of the Home Claims function into a market leader.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Home Claims strategy to maximize commercial outcomes.
- Drive data-led performance improvement opportunities by working across the Hastings Direct matrix and external suppliers.
- Manage contractual relationships with external suppliers to achieve commercial and customer outcomes.
- Manage risk and business continuity, developing strategies to mitigate threats.
- Own the commercial performance of a key component of Home Claims.
- Identify trading performance improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in delivering commercial initiatives across a busy Home Claims function.
- Strong commercial aptitude combined with analytical capability.
- Ability to translate complex data and concepts into a logical and structured fashion.
- Ability to articulate concepts clearly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience in presenting and influencing senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
