About the Role
The Production Supervisor (3rd Shift) will ensure production activities are completed safely, timely, and efficiently. This role involves leading production crews, conducting root cause analysis, and collaborating with engineers, maintenance, and operating personnel to enhance throughput, reduce costs, and improve efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and ensure execution of all production activities.
- Support health, safety, environmental, and quality programs through implementation, maintenance, and enforcement.
- Coach employees and hold them accountable for meeting requirements.
- Recognize and celebrate employee efforts and successes.
- Ensure incident investigations and root-cause analysis are conducted promptly.
- Lead efforts in fostering a team environment within the production staff.
- Ensure timely collection of production data to monitor equipment efficiency.
- Communicate expectations and provide feedback on performance in safety, quality, and product delivery.
- Manage the production schedule and organize resources to meet customer needs.
- Partner with the site Maintenance organization to improve up-time and reduce unplanned repairs.
- Liaise with Packaging & Shipping to ensure timely product shipment.
- Provide front-line process technical expertise and hands-on assistance to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure all processes and work activities comply with regulatory and corporate policy.
- Communicate with Customer Service regarding customer demand and production-impacting issues.
- Establish, implement, and communicate KPIs to drive activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Supervisory/Leadership experience.

- Demonstrated ability to establish positive relationships with subordinates.
- Adept at Change Management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills (process, mechanical, and people).
- Demonstrated sense of ownership and comfort challenging the status quo.
