About the Role
Design, build, and evolve AI-first telecom platforms serving millions of customers. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will write production code, influence architectural decisions, and ensure systems are scalable, secure, and ready for enterprise-scale telecoms. You will collaborate with leadership to translate architectural direction into software, challenge technical assumptions, and elevate engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and own critical platform components, contributing to overall architecture and ensuring consistency with reference architecture.
- Evaluate and propose solutions to complex technical challenges, balancing performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical design sessions for key platform features.
- Define integration patterns and data flows across platform services.
- Write production-quality code across the full stack, including backend services, APIs, front-end interfaces, and infrastructure as code.
- Deliver features and platform capabilities end-to-end, from design through build, test, and deployment.
- Contribute to production readiness, including documentation, runbooks, monitoring, and observability.
- Maintain and improve existing platform components, addressing technical debt and performance issues.
- Champion engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, CI/CD, security, and observability.
- Conduct thorough code and architecture reviews, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to and maintain engineering standards and guardrails.
- Work alongside build partners on platform delivery, providing technical direction and reviewing their designs and code.
- Identify and flag risks or gaps in partner delivery, escalating with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with AI/ML, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Product teams.
- Share technical knowledge across the engineering organization through documentation, talks, or pairing.
Requirements
- Hands-on full stack engineering experience, delivering complex platforms in enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency across the full stack: backend (Python, Java or equivalent), frontend frameworks, APIs, databases, and infrastructure as code.
- Depth in distributed systems design, understanding how to build scalable, fault-tolerant, and quickly recoverable services.
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes or equivalent).
- Proven ability to translate complex architectural requirements into clear, deliverable engineering plans.
- Strong experience in code and architecture review, providing and receiving feedback.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced delivery environments with clear prioritization and a bias for shipping.
- Experience collaborating with or reviewing the output of SI/vendor build partners.
