About the Role
Play a key role in shaping data-driven decision-making across an iconic Australian financial institution, contributing to cross-functional initiatives and influencing how data is used to drive decisions.
Responsibilities
- Drive key data operations, pipelines and functions.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of data analysis, from problem definition through to insights and recommendations.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and analytical models to support decision-making.
- Ensure data quality, integrity and appropriate use of data in line with governance and risk standards.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior analysts and contribute to analytics best practice across the team.
Requirements
- Strong experience in data analysis within a complex environment (financial services or large corporates desirable).
- Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, compelling insights for senior, non-technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset.
- Curiosity-driven approach and a passion for using data to solve real-world business problems.
