About the Role
Our Treasury team is growing and we’re looking for a Treasury Analyst with a focus on commercial performance to support our investment strategy. You will play a key role in supporting Treasury’s budgeting, stress testing, month end, and modelling, while learning how Monzo manages liquidity, capital, interest rate risk, and the credit portfolio to maintain balance sheet resilience. This is a collaborative role working across Treasury, Finance, and Risk functions.
Responsibilities
- Support and enhance our budgeting and forecasting process, including stress testing and model development.
- Support month-end reporting, including cost analysis and reporting.
- Enhance our control environment.
- Design brilliant ways to automate work and leverage technology to ensure scalability.
- Partner with internal teams to help them make informed business decisions.
Requirements
- Experience working at a bank and knowledge of Treasury forecasting.
- A highly analytical and forward-thinking approach.
- Interest in identifying and using data, performing analysis, and understanding financial impacts on the bank.
- Ability to articulate and explain technical topics to diverse audiences.
- Strong technical skills.
- Interest in learning more about the wider Treasury worlds of investment and capital management.
