About the Role
Join our Complex Care team in Herne Hill (SE24) as a Complex Care Assistant. You will provide person-centered care to a lady with an acquired brain injury and schizoaffective disorder, requiring tracheostomy management, specialized moving and handling, catheter care, and medication administration.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered care
- Tracheostomy management including inner cannula care and suctioning
- Utilize specialized moving and handling equipment
- Perform catheter care
- Administer medication
Requirements
- Previous complex care experience in caring for clients with tracheostomies, suctioning and catheter care is essential
- Experience caring for a client with an ABI and tracheostomies is welcomed
