About the Role
This position requires you to deliver newspapers using your own vehicle. This is not a warehouse-only position and we do not have any warehouse-only positions. The position is primarily local newspaper delivery using your own vehicle, along with warehouse work including sorting, preparing and loading newspapers for delivery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver newspapers using your own vehicle
- Perform warehouse work including sorting, preparing and loading newspapers for delivery
- Be trained and able to use the pallet jack or other warehouse equipment
- Unload bundles of newspapers (30 – 50 lbs each) multiple times on a daily basis
- Operate automobile
- Work in a warehouse type environment
- Function at night in adverse conditions
Requirements
- Must have your own reliable vehicle
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have current auto insurance with you listed as a driver
- Be available approximately 2:00 AM-7:00 AM weekdays and 2:00 AM-8:00 AM weekends
- Be available Saturday AND Sunday
- Be comfortable with both newspaper delivery and warehouse work
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license in the state where residing, and automobile insurance at limits required by PCF
- Ability to use computer and other office equipment
