This role is responsible for maintaining order and providing professional customer service within a parking facility. Key duties include monitoring for safety and security, collecting fees, and ensuring the facility operates smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain order in the parking facility.
  • Provide professional customer service.
  • Monitor the facility for safety and security.
  • Collect parking fees.
  • Park cars if required.
  • Clean facility.
  • Perform related work as required.
  • Report to work on time, in full company issued uniform and clock-in for work before starting daily duties.
  • Adhere to all company rules and policies.
  • Ask for clarification from supervisor if in doubt.
  • Use the facility opening check list to ensure the facility is in complete operating condition.
  • Perform facility closing check list as provided by supervisor.
  • Verify fee computer operating fund.
  • Verify pay-on-foot machine operating fund.
  • Verify full functionality of all parking equipment: fee computer, pay-on-foot machines, ticket dispensers, ticket acceptors, all barrier gates along with the gate arms.
  • Verify the existence of all facility keys/ attendant emergency access card/ all facility keys which attendants carry during their shift.
  • Take inventory of overnight parked vehicles when opening, closing, or as directed by the manager.
  • Perform daily cleaning per the daily check list provided by supervisor.
  • Complete daily revenue collection report per location operating procedures and as directed by supervisor.
  • Report all extraordinary incidents using company issued incident report forms and as directed by supervisor.
  • Assist patrons to park their vehicles in designated areas.
  • Monitor the parking facility for improperly parked vehicles and issue citations as needed.
  • Answer questions from the public enthusiastically.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate, read, write in English.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Must enjoy working with people.
  • Must maintain a neat and clean appearance.
  • No visible tattoos.
  • Facial hair must be clean or neatly trimmed.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work independently in an unsupervised environment.
  • Must be able to clear a background check.
