About the Role
As a Data Analytics/Data Science Trainer/Tutor, you will guide participants through their further education, answering questions, assisting with exercises and projects, and ensuring they can independently analyze and model with Python. You will also assess learning progress, conduct final exams, and provide constructive feedback, actively contributing to the development of training programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical answers to participant questions (written and verbal).
- Create, prepare, and develop learning materials for data analysis and data science using Python, pandas, matplotlib, and scikit-learn.
- Deliver and deepen training content in live sessions, webinars, classrooms, and individual learning support.
- Support participants with learning challenges, exercises, and projects.
- Conduct and evaluate final exams and determine training success.
- Ensure the quality of existing training and provide feedback to the learning team.
- Conduct individual coaching sessions and support new team members.
Requirements
- Completed degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Business Informatics) or comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in data analysis or data science, including data cleaning, exploratory analysis, result visualization, and basic model development/evaluation using Python, pandas, matplotlib, and scikit-learn.
- SQL knowledge and experience with AI tools are advantageous.
- Didactic experience in teaching technical or subject-specific content to non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of adult education and online further education didactic concepts.
- High customer and service orientation, empathy, clear communication, and constructive feedback culture.
- Hands-on mentality, team spirit, resilience, and flexibility.
- Very good German and English skills (minimum C1).
