About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to work on an exciting contract in the Elephant and Castle. This is a Monday-Friday role working 08:00-17:00.
Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM, reactive and breakdown work on all electrical systems on site.
- Operate engineering assets to ensure reliable, cost-effective performance with no unplanned disruptions.
- Manage reactive work in line with procedures.
- Develop management tools and report on asset building performance and recommending improvements.
- Maintain routine PPM is completed on all electrical plant in line with site schedules and asset lists.
- Complete reactive tasks across the building, including concessionary stores and fabric items, and highlight areas for improvement.
- Remedy plant faults and defects promptly to maintain serviceability.
- Keep the Computer-Based Maintenance System (e.g., Concept, Smart Hub) updated and close out PPM and reactive tickets with accurate information.
- Complete all paperwork for reactive and breakdown works and pass it to the contract administrator without delay.
- Prepare and use Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
- Keep all Smart-managed plant rooms locked, clean and tidy at all times.
Requirements
- Knowledge of air conditioning, UPS, generators and LV systems.
- Ability to fault-find using graphical information and alarm data.
- Experience in a similar role.
