About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and tech-savvy 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team, responsible for a designated local route and ensuring efficient, professional deliveries. This role is vital in providing excellent customer service and contributing to our mission of being the UK's most sustainable delivery team.
Responsibilities
- Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes, ensuring safety, professionalism, and efficiency.
- Utilize industry-leading Saturn handheld devices for delivery management and progress tracking.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing a positive delivery experience.
- Load and unload parcels using equipment such as sack barrows and hand trucks.
Requirements
- A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence.
- DQC/CPC accreditation.
- Ideally 6 months of recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
- Physical fitness to handle the lifting involved in the job.
- Professional and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to doing a good job and treating customers and colleagues with respect.
