About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Conversion Design Analyst to frame user problems using data, design product features, build and analyze experiments, and collaborate within a product delivery team focused on user growth. You will work alongside other Conversion Design Analysts and communicate in English and German.

Responsibilities

Design experiences grounded in real user needs and neighborhood life, ensuring high usability and intuitive flows that add measurable value.
Frame the real problem by digging into quantitative and qualitative data to identify the core question, making it explainable and actionable.
Run experiments, including designing testable changes, ensuring proper instrumentation, and honestly analyzing outcomes, reporting failures and proposing alternatives.
Engage with users to understand their needs, as experiments alone do not provide complete understanding.
Direct AI tools by briefing, providing feedback, and maintaining quality standards to focus human effort on complex thinking.
Advocate for removing features or elements that do not add sufficient value, making a case for simplicity.

Requirements

Practice product design and analytics, with experience in either field and a strong understanding of the other.
Possess technical know-how and experience in setting up and evaluating experiments using A/B testing tools.
Experience constructing dashboards for specific problem spaces and utilizing design system tooling.
Demonstrate data literacy, including the ability to retrieve and analyze raw data using SQL queries to uncover insights and opportunities independently.
Experience running end-to-end experiments, including hypothesis formulation, metric selection, variant design, result analysis, and decision-making on next steps.
Possess statistical literacy, understanding concepts like Bayesian vs. frequentist approaches and power analysis.
Care about craft and be attentive to details, distinguishing between 'good enough' and 'actually good' design.
Be fluent with AI tools and leverage AI enablement stacks.
Present work clearly, defend decisions when challenged, and be comfortable presenting to groups.
Excellent English skills for international collaboration.
Submit a portfolio showcasing work by impact, including end-to-end project walkthroughs (hypothesis, design, results, learnings) and demonstrating data-driven decision-making and the role of experimentation.
