About the Role
Join our program management team leading the development, production, and growth of advanced Very Low Frequency (VLF) transmitters within the Tactical Systems Product Line. This role supports the Maritime Product Area in creating systems for the US government, with opportunities for leadership growth and support from deputy Program Managers.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks across project management processes including initiating, organizing, integrating, planning, managing, controlling, developing, and completing projects or programs.
- Track progress and ensure achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives.
- Lead and support new business development activities, including creating strategic and financial plans and leading pursuit and capture of programs.
- Exhibit sound interpersonal skills for interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with cross-functional personnel, customers, and suppliers.
- Utilize computer skills to prepare plans, reports, and documents.
- Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with company policies, procedures, principles, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Analyze, evaluate, develop, and implement processes and systems to complete programs within budget, on time, and within technical requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years relevant experience, or Master’s Degree with 10+ years relevant experience.
- Experience with Aerospace industry or similar.
- Demonstrated project management excellence.
- Risk & Opportunity management experience.
- Business capture experience.
- Models and demonstrates leadership in ethics, safety and security.
- Effective problem solving skills, evidenced by success in resolving challenging project constraints.
- Strong presentation and organizational skills while interfacing with senior management and customer leadership.
- Strong interpersonal skills within a cross functional team environment.
