About the Role
This role offers an early career auditor or analyst the chance to build deep regulatory knowledge within Deloitte's Financial Services Regulatory Audit team. You will support regulatory audit and assurance work across banking, insurance, superannuation, and wealth clients, contributing to the confidence in Australia's financial system.
Responsibilities
- Gather and assess evidence for APRA and ASIC regulated engagements.
- Analyse regulatory issues and contribute to audit and assurance deliverables.
- Help financial services clients strengthen compliance, improve reporting, and respond to regulatory obligations.
- Work closely with audit colleagues, regulatory specialists, and client stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in an external or internal audit environment.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a focus on high-quality outcomes.
- The ability to analyse complex issues and summarise them clearly.
- Experience in insurance or with APRA-regulated entities.
- Knowledge of APRA reporting, compliance, or ASIC requirements.
